Arianna brings a deep background in high stakes investigations and litigation to each new client matter.
Arianna advises clients in white collar criminal defense, litigation, and internal investigations across a wide range of legal issues, industries, legal regimes, and jurisdictions. She has extensive experience representing clients in matters involving various forms of alleged fraud, securities violations, and financial services misconduct.
Arianna has represented clients in government investigations, including concerning alleged tax offenses. She has defended a client at a trial on employment-related claims that resulted in dismissal of all claims against the client and has obtained favorable judgments and settlement agreements in debt-collection matters. She has conducted internal investigations and advised clients in matters involving workplace misconduct, breach of fiduciary duties, misuse of charitable funds, corporate governance, compliance programs, FINCEN, and OFAC.
Arianna has represented multiple clients pro bono in Special Immigrant Juvenile and asylum matters. She was an active career counselor to students at Duke University School of Law.
Arianna is a native Spanish speaker.
Prior Experience & Education
Prior to joining Lovett O’Brien, Arianna worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in Washington, D.C. She received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law where she was a member of the Alaska Law Review, President of the Hispanic Law Student Association, and intern at the Wake County Public Defender's Office. Arianna received her B.A. in Biology cum laude from Boston University. She is originally from Danvers, Massachusetts.
